STABILITY CONTROL AND MOMENT LIMITATION SYSTEM FOR MARGIOTTA GROUP MACHINES

From now on, ALMEC will supply MARGIOTTA GROUP, a manufacturer of agricultural machinery based in Saracena (Cs), with a particular stability control and moment limitation system dedicated to scissor lift platforms.
The system is based on a SPN6M SMART electronic control unit, 1 MVS.B3E operator panel, 2 TRS.184 angular safety sensors and 4 pressure transducers.
In addition, the Industry 4.0 remote diagnostics, interconnection and satellite geolocation system ALMECdiag will be also provided.

The SPN6 controller is an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) which can handle up to 48 inputs and up to 40 outputs.
It can be implementable in RS232 line or CAN network as MASTER or SLAVE
The polyurethane resin case makes the controller suitable for use on machines that operate in harsh work environments.

The MVS.B3E operator panel is suitable for landscape/portrait recessed or standalone installation.
The adjustable backlight and the high resolution of the LCD display allow an optimal reading of the texts and functions of the machine, in any situation.
Using the Linux operating system, the operating logic and the graphics are easily programmable.
It can be implemented in a serial line (RS232) or in a CAN network, as MASTER or SLAVE.

The TRS.184 is safety angular based on a double CPU, a double 3D-MEMS accelerometer and a double gyroscope, in a fully redundant circuit scheme.
Using a special algorithm, the device can filter and improve the measure accuracy in presence of vibration and acceleration loads.
It can be implemented as SLAVE in a CAN network.
