Electronic control units

ALMEC electronic control units have been studied, designed and manufactured to adapt and be the heart of automation systems for many types of machines. Thanks to the different functions available on inputs and outputs and to the special polyurethane resin casing, able to effectively protect the internal electronics from atmospheric agents, vibrations and corrosive chemical agents, these electronic control units are the optimal choice for outdoor and rugged applications. They can be integrated into CANBus networks, as Master or as Slave, or in RS232 serial networks. They are all programmable by developing the software in C language, inOpenSource environments and for the prepared models, using the ALMEClab platform standard IEC 611313.

SPLIFT

The SPLIFT is an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) suitable for dual DC motor drive and vehicle management systems.
The device has two proportional power channels for traction and steering control.

The onboard electronic is equipped with a redundant microcontroller, to ensure the failsafe operation and an integrated and configurable tilt sensor to limit or prevent selected functions when the vehicle is tilted.

A PC software tool (via RS232) allows system diagnosis, software updates and parametrization.
The CAN SLAVE version allows to manage the device by a CAN BUS network.

SPN8

The SPN8 controller is an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) which can handle up to 24 inputs and up to 20 outputs.

Easy to program, through C programming language on the ALMEClab development platform, it can be implemented in a serial line (RS232) or in a a CAN network, as MASTER or SLAVE.

SPN6

The SPN6 controller is an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) which can handle up to 48 inputs and up to 40 outputs.

It can be implementable in RS232 line or CAN network as MASTER or SLAVE

SPN6M ST

The SPN6M ST controller is an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) which can handle up to 32 inputs and up to 32 outputs.

The device has a redundant architecture composed of two units (identified as A and B) which are equipped with M7 high-performance microprocessors.

It is freely programmable using the ALMEClab development platform and implemented in a serial line (RS232) or a CAN network, as MASTER or SLAVE unit.

For the prepared version, the device is compatible with installation on the ISOBUS network.

SPN6M SMART

The SPN6M SMART controller is an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) equipped with smart high side MOSFETs and a redundant architecture.
It can handle up to 32 inputs and up to  32 outputs.

It can be implemented in a CAN BUS network as SLAVE, with CANopen protocols.

SPN5

The SPN5 controller is an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) which can handle up to 24 inputs and up to 20 outputs.

It can be implemented in an RS232 line or CAN network as MASTER or SLAVE

SPN5M ST

The SPN5M ST controller is an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) which can handle up to 16 inputs, and up to 16 outputs with an M7 high-performance microprocessor.

It is freely programmable using the ALMEClab development platform and implemented in a serial line (RS232) or a CAN network as MASTER or SLAVE unit.

For the prepared version, the device is compatible with installation on the ISOBUS network.
