NEW AUTOMATION SYSTEM FOR TAM MILITARY HOOK-LIFT TRAILERS

ALMEC has started supplying TAM s.r.l. , a company based in Pontevico (Bs), a new special complete automation system dedicated to hook-lift trailers of the military sector.

This new special automation system is based on a particular AL50RC console, purposely designed, built and customized, which works both by wired and radio control, an RDC EVO radio receiving electronic control unit, an SPN6 electronic control unit and a 7” MVS.B4E operator panel.

The RDC EVO receiving electronic control unit runs also as bi-directional radio module it can therefore be used both as radio transmitter and radio receiver.
It is made for automotive applications and it is implementable on a CAN-Bus network as SLAVE, with CANopen protocols.

The SPN6 controller is an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) which can handle up to 48 inputs and up to 40 outputs.
It can be implementable in RS232 line or CAN network as MASTER or SLAVE
The polyurethane resin case makes the controller suitable for use on machines that operate in harsh work environments.

The MVS.B4E is suitable for landscape/ portrait, standalone or in-dash mounting.
The device provides several communication ports for serial line (RS232), CAN networks, ethernet and high speed USB port.
