STABILITY CONTROL AND LOAD LIMITING SYSTEM FOR SCISSOR PLATFORMS

 ROSSO MACCHINE AGRICOLE

In March, the first batches of the ALMEC stability control and load limiting system for scissor platforms used in agriculture were delivered to ROSSO MACCHINE AGRICOLE, a company that has two production units in Centallo (Cn) and Villafalletto (Cn).

The system is based on a SPN6M SMART control unit (with double microprocessor, Performance Level d and SIL 2, in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 13849-1: 2016 standard), 2 TRS.184 safety angular sensors (with double microprocessor, double MEMS accelerometer and double gyroscope, Performance Level d and SIL 2) and 4 pressure transducers 4..20 mA.

In the case of ROSSO MACCHINE AGRICOLE, the ALMEC stability control and load limiting system is combined with the Industry 4.0 system of remote diagnostics, interconnection and satellite geolocalization ALMECdiag.
