SPN5M ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNITS FOR ORTOMEC

ALMEC has started to supply some SPN5M SMART electronic control units to ORTOMEC s.r.l, a company based in Cona (Ve), which produces machines for the harvesting of head and leaf salads and sowing.

The SPN5M SMART control units differ from the SPN5M essentially for this: the electronic boards have a different microprocessor and different mosfets (smart high side mosfets).

The SPN5M SMART controller is an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) equipped with smart high side mosfets.
It can handle up to 16 inputs and up to 16 outputs.
It can be easily and quickly implemented in a CAN BUS network as SLAVE, with CANopen protocols.
The polyurethane resin case makes the controller suitable for use on machines that operate in harsh work environments.
