AL.MEC AMONG THE 350 LEADERS OF GROWTH 2019

Awarded for an average growth of over 18%

There is the chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo, with his business growing by 38% in three years. There is the visionary of the Boston Mit Carlo Ratti, who with his studio in Turin designs smart cities all over the world. There is the linguistic mediator of Macerata Ada Di Fiore, 29, who hooked up a Chinese investor and with his funds brought Amazon the sale of furniture brand Mobili Rebecca. There is the small Friulian company Travisanutto, of Spilimbergo, which is covering 44 metro stations in New York with mosaics. And there is AL.MEC the small company of Dogliani that designs electronic systems for industrial vehicles

All share a trend, indeed, a miracle: to have grown a lot, in two figures, in the period 2014-2017, when the economic crisis was baffling shops and businesses and banks closed the purse strings with the so-called “credit crunch”. Yet, there were small and medium-sized businesses that were successfully developing in Italy.

Il Sole 24 Ore and Statista, an international pioneer company in the elaboration of market data and complex research projects, have found 350 and have named them Growth Leaders (ARTICLE).. The list examines companies, most of which are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which achieved significant revenue growth in the three years between 2014 and 2017, with a minimum turnover of 100,000 euros in 2014 and at least 1,5 million in 2017.

The result is a very interesting overview of SMEs, formally similar to that made by Statista with the Financial Times, but different in substance, given the typicality of Italian SMEs and the different level of maturation in the country of digital technologies and trends already established for years .

Among the Growth Leaders Sole 24 Ore-Statista it is possible to identify the success factors, the levers of development that, riding the emerging trends in Italy, have allowed this patrol of SMEs to grow, even in the presence of a complex market situation . So, to reward the analyzed SMEs was their ability to keep the course on the wave of some undeniable success trends.

Growth Leader Report, attached to the Sole 24 Ore of November 13th, is dedicated to them.

“Another boost to our desire to improve” said the CEO of AL.MEC Srl Ivano Albarello.
