UN/ECE Regulation 10 Automotive certification: a significant milestone for ALMEC
ALMEC is proud to announce that it has obtained certification under UN/ECE Regulation 10, issued by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. This certification, in accordance with the regulation dated September 20, 2012, is a crucial recognition for the Automotive sector, confirming the compliance of several of our products with stringent international standards regarding electromagnetic compatibility.
The certified products include:
SPN5M electronic control unit
SPN6M electronic control unit
SPN8 electronic control unit
SPN9 electronic control unit
ALMEXT electronic control unit
TRS.184 safety angular sensor
TRS.ALMX safety angular sensor
The laboratory tests, which required a full day for each product, were conducted at the TRAMA laboratory in Alba (Cn) under the supervision of a ministry official. These rigorous tests confirmed that our devices meet the electromagnetic compatibility requirements set forth by UN/ECE Regulation 10, ensuring their safety and reliability in automotive applications.
Additionally, by March 2021, these same products, along with the SPN5 and SPN6 electronic control units, will also be certified as safety components under Annex IV of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC by VERICERT. This further step in certification reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence and safety in the products we develop, providing our customers with cutting-edge technological solutions that comply with the highest international standards.
