A Link Between Schools and Innovative Companies

The initiative is part of the Tech in Langhe series of events, organized by ALMEC with the aim of building networks and bringing young people closer to the world of high-tech companies, while also promoting the exchange of best practices in technical and vocational education.

For ALMEC, which has always been committed to dialogue with schools and to the enhancement of young talent, it was a constructive moment of openness and exchange.

Discovering ALMEC: Innovation, Quality, and Mechatronics

The afternoon was structured around several educational activities:

• Welcome and company presentation: an overview of ALMEC’s history, active since 2001 in the field of electronics for industrial automation and off-highway mobility.

• Deep dive into Diaboard: the proprietary platform developed by ALMEC for vehicle and mobile system control and connectivity—a concrete example of digital innovation in the embedded systems sector.

• Focus on key business processes: from project management to product development and quality control.

• First-hand testimonials from the ALMEC team, who shared their professional experiences, daily teamwork, and growth opportunities within a technology-driven company.

The visit concluded with a guided tour of the production facilities and laboratories, where students had the opportunity to closely observe electronic devices, control units, command interfaces, and other solutions developed by ALMEC for both national and international clients.

ALMEC has been actively engaged for years in school-work alternation projects, collaborations with universities, technical and vocational institutes, and training internships.
