ALMEC joins BIOPMED
ALMEC is proud to have joined BIOPMED.
BIOPMED is an Italian innovation cluster dedicated to life sciences and healthcare, managed by BIOINDUSTRY PARK and located in Colleretto Giacosa, near Ivrea in the province of Turin. With over 90 members and a community of more than 400 stakeholders, BIOPMED represents the entire healthcare supply chain, including universities, research and development centers, start-ups, SMEs, large multinational companies, foundations, local healthcare providers, specialized training institutes, and service providers. All members of the cluster share a common vision and a strategic approach to development.
BIOPMED's strategy is based on four main pillars: Innovation, Global Business Development, International Positioning, and Competence Development, aimed at supporting the competitiveness of its members and the region through a range of dedicated services.
Personalized healthcare is at the core of its mission, with key expertise and specializations in the fields of cardiovascular diseases, dental technologies, bone implants, diagnostics (particularly imaging), IoT, and connected health, as well as complementary fields such as agri-food, biotech, new materials, ICT, and nanotechnologies.
BIOPMED is strongly connected internationally, with a network of partners across five continents, and is a partner in two ESCPs (MAGIA and S3MartMed) and the BioXclusters Alliance.
