AL.MEC IN THE GROUP OF COMPANIES THAT TOOK THE FIRST PLACE IN “SMART FACTORY” PROGRAM OF THE PIEDMONT REGION
The project was launched in October 2016
It is called “Dinamic Integrated ShopfLoor Operation MANagement for industry 4.0- DISLO-MAN” (lead by Santer Reply) the winning project of Piedmont Region “Smart Factory Technology Platform”: it was created by a group of companies (both Large and SME) that includes also AL.MEC.
The theme of the factory of the future is central to the strategy of intelligent specialization of Piedmont: the aim of the intervention is to establish a strong local supply chain capable of identifying intelligent and eco-sustainable solutions in advanced production systems. Piedmont Region, to act the Program Agreement with MIUR and to promote the development of innovative technologies applicable to the “Intelligent Factory of the Future”, announced a call for proposals for groups and aggregations of SME, large companies and research organizations that in Piedmont area wished to develop industrial research projects and experimental development on the Intelligent Factory theme.
Dinamic Integrated ShopfLoor Operation MANagement for industry 4.0- DISLO-MAN project has as its primary goal the realization of an ICT platform for integrated, dynamic and autonomous management of high-level automation production operations aimed at optimizing resources (people, materials, production systems). As part of the project, AL.MEC has an active role in developing a device able to communicate with demonstrators and allowing data collection.
DISLO-MAN platform will be composed of several hardware and software modules applicable to undifferentiated production areas, and modules based on four demonstration chains with high impact on the territory and with different volumes, dimensions and complexity: car manufacturing, machine tools manufacturing, precision mechanics, pharmaceuticals and agri-food.
